Welcome to the self-service membership portal of 1st Balmain
1st Balmain Scout Group provides fun youth development activities, building resilient and confident young people aged 8 to 18 years in the Cub Scout, Scout and Venturer Scout sections. We also welcome volunteer adult leaders in our three Scout sections, as well as adult helpers.
Scouts has opportunities for the whole family to be involved. Everyone is welcome, and we value the diversity of our members. We offer fun activities for our youth members on different evenings throughout the week, as well as optional weekend and holiday activities. Our three age-based sections meet regularly at our Scout Hall at 103 Mort Street, Balmain.
- Cub Scouts (8 to 12 years): Monday 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm (We currently have a wait-list for this section. Please use the Get in touch button below to add a name to the list.)
- Scouts (11 to 15 years): Tuesday 7:00 pm to about 8:45 pm
- Venturer Scouts (14 to 18 years): Thursday 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
New starters are welcome to enjoy a 6-week trial of Scouting as a temporary member at no cost or obligation.
